On 21st October, Highgate Primary and Blanche Nevile celebrated their Harvest Festival with a truly memorable and moving assembly which captured the warmth and diversity of the school. Once again the hall was filled to bursting with family and friends to hear the children sing beautifully, with enthusiasm and infectious energy.
The choir sang ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ and the whole school sang and signed ‘What a Wonderful World’ and a seasonal song sung in Mandarin. Both school choirs and all the children performed beautifully and should be very proud of themselves.
A heart-felt thanks to all the parents and children for their generous, colourful donations which adorned the stage and were sincerely appreciated by local residents and the Muswell Hill Drop-In Centre for the homeless.
A huge thank you to Hilla for directing the Assembly and to Rhoda for the Mandarin song. As ever, thank you very much to the PSA for their wonderful display.
