A very warm welcome to our Nursery and Reception children who started on Monday 21st September. The children seem to be settling in exceptionally well and are excited about their new adventure.

Over the summer the Early Years classrooms have been wonderfully renovated.  The result is an impressively large, light-filled, appealing space, with soft bright carpets, large windows and skylights and an enticing kitchen area. Double doors allow the reception classrooms to interconnect so that children can use the whole space and free-flow between them.  A glass wall between Nursery and Reception offers lots of opportunities for the Nursery children to have an insight into what they can expect when they move into Reception.

On Friday 18th September,  staff, governors and colleagues from Haringey’s education team were invited to look around the beautiful classrooms and celebrate the opening of the new Early Years space.

The next treat in store for the children will be the newly designed outside space, with plans for a digging area, a reading hut on stilts and a mud kitchen designed by parents. I think the older children will be very jealous!
