We have some exciting activities happening in school next week.
New recycling bins in school
We are excited to be launching our new recycling bins this week. These will help us all to improve the school environment and to dispose of our waste more responsibly.
Greenpeace Speaker
We will be welcoming a speaker from Greenpeace to talk about tackling plastic pollution.
Classroom Activities
Children in years 1-6 will be doing in-class workshops to discuss their own class sustainability pledge.
Sustainability Market – Thursday 16thJune – from 3.10pm in the Lower Playground
Wormeries in the Early Years
Children in EYFS will be learning about our new school wormery to help us to compost more of our fruit/veg snack waste.
School lunches will be meat-free this week, thanks to a special Sustainability week menu from chef Jakeline. You can have a look at the menu here!
