Parents

We believe that children learn best when parents are actively involved in their education. At Highgate Primary, parental support and involvement in the school is very much encouraged and welcomed. We are proud of the fact that we have recently received the Leading Parent Partnership Award.

The school aims for all parents to feel involved and included, well supported and sure of where to seek guidance and support. We provide opportunities on a daily basis for good communication to take place. Teaching staff are available to speak to parents before and after school, and meetings can be made at parents request. There are also opportunities for more formal meetings between home and school each term, where our aim is that there are no surprises.
